Okay, here is a very personalized (and harsh) review, which is rare for me, but I had to write down my visceral immediate reaction to this film.

I found it contrived, predictable and often boring. Even the opening sequence did not draw me in, but looked amateurish.
The introduction of the…

"Seducing Charlie Barker" is a great character study filled with unexpected twists and turns and comic interactions. The characters are light and funny. The situations start out realistic but always with an unexpected twist with comic results. Although it begins slowly, as the plot thickens, the interplay between the four leads…

(Possible Spoilers)
By Rachel Galvin
It is nice to see a leading lady who makes no excuses for who she is. She allows herself to be aggressive, violent and even insane, yet likable, withdrawn, introverted and vulnerable. Greetings fellow film buffs. I can’t count the number of films I’ve watched over the years in which I’ve thought to myself, “hey that was a great film, but the ending just killed it”. (Yeah, I’m talking to you, M Night Shyamalan.) I’ve started this blog because I’ve just discovered a remedy to this problem. A friend of mine who has had her movies screened at prestigious film festivals such as Sundance and Cannes led me to www.imadeamovie.com. I am so…
