Women's International Film & Arts Fest., opens March 5

The Women’s International Film & Arts Festival (WIFF) is a unique, cultural event featuring films, visual and performance arts and other artistic expressions by women. An event that has had guests like Halle Berry & Jada Pinkett Smith, it is one of only two festivals in the Southeastern United States specifically dedicated to women. Held annually during Women’s History month, the event is designed to celebrate women and to help them realize their dreams, visions, and voices. The events bring together women from all over the world to explore, share and dialogue about issues concerning women through arts.  JustLuxe.com recently named The Women's International Film & Art Festival one of the nation's Top 9 Film Festivals outside of Hollywood to still see celebrities and enjoy all the amenities of the world's top film festivals such as Cannes and The Toronto Film Festival.

Opening Night Red Carpet Gala & Film
The evening begins with "red"... pink... carpet arrivals and a pre-screening sparkling wine hour in the dazzling lobby of the James L Knight Center in downtown Miami, followed by the Florida premiere of the award winning ”Greencard Warriors.” The film’s excellent cast includes, Manny Perez (“La Soga,” “Bella”), Vivica A. Fox (“Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Kill Bill”), and Adrian Bellani (“Moneyball”). The film recently won the Best Director Award for Miriam Kruishoop (who is also the writer) at the Latino Film Festival in Los Angeles. Festivities continue with music, dancing, food and fun.
