R.I.P. Phillip Seymour Hoffman --dead at 46

Fans are devastated by the news of the death of Academy Award-winning Phillip Seymour Hoffman, 46, who was found dead in his NYC apartment today (Feb. 2). Found with a hypodermic needle in his arm and 50 bags of what appeared to be heroin, possibly mixed with the dangerous opiate Fentanyl, it is assumed his death was the result of a drug overdose. He is known to have had problems with substance abuse in the past. Hoffman had just attended the Sundance Film Festival last month to promote his film "God's Pocket." He was also filming the latest "Hunger Games" film as well as the TV series "Happyish." See video of his appearance at Sundance under VIDEOS.
