"Save 2 Lives" premieres in Jacksonville, FL 8/16!

"Save 2 Lives" is the working title of an upcoming short film to raise awareness for Mike's Dog House, an animal shelter that rescues good, adoptable dogs from difficult situations and animal shelters where their days are numbered. Many local creative professionals donated their time and equipment to make this project happen. I hope you can come out to support the film and the cause.

Yappy Hour is a free event for dog owners and their dogs from 4:00 - 7:00 PM Sunday, August 16th. Kick off football season with your pooch at this month’s Yappy Hour, featuring the Longest Yard Fetch Contest, hot dog eating contest (for the dogs-sorry humans!), and hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill!

Then during the 5:00 hour...drum roll please..."Save 2 Lives" will show for the first time, and YOU will be there to see it!

Representatives from Mike's Dog House will be present...and they just might bring some puppies with them! Enjoy live music by the George Aspinall Band until 8 PM, pet expo, games, prizes, drink specials and more! Please spread the word about this event to everyone you know. Let's show the Jacksonville Landing how much we all care about animal rescue organizations like Mike's Dog House.

Did I mention this event is FREE? I can't remember the last time I went to a film screening where the price of admission was a smile. Consider what you would typically pay for such fine entertainment, and offer that to Mike's Dog House, to help them continue their operation. If you only have enough to grab a drink and a bite to eat at one of the Landing's fine establishments, that's understandable. We still want to see you out there.
